She is to make her Broadway debut in Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge in January.
It will make a change of pace for the 24-year-old actress who has just finished filming Iron Man 2. Her co-star on stage will be Liev Shreiber as a Brooklyn longshoreman who becomes obsessed with Johansson as his 17-year-old orphaned niece.
