'TALAASH' HAS NO RESEMBLANCE WITH 'KAHAANI': REEMA KAGTI
As the buzz of ‘Talaash’ being a second ‘Kahaani’ are uninterruptedly making rounds in the B-Town, both Aamir Khan and director Reema Kagti have stepped up to nullify such allegations saying that the film will speak for itself.

Even before when it started filming, ‘Talaash’ has been in news and now it has become talk of the B-Town because of its impending release date.

The film is an Aamir Khan production and is co-produced by Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment.

The movie is a suspense thriller drama which would also be featuring Rani Mukherji and Kareena Kapoor in female leads.

'Talaash' director rebuffs the linkage
Writer-Director of ‘Talaash’, Reema Kagti has rebuffed recent rumors about her film bearing resemblance with Vidya Balan's latest super hit ‘Kahaani’.

The 40 year old Kagti who made her directorial debut with critically acclaimed ‘Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd.’, said she was rather surprised after hearing the gossips and added that Aamir’s small screen debut is the only genuine reason behind the delay in the release of ‘Talaash'.

Recent accidental fire on the sets of ‘Satyamev Jayate’ corroborates the delay and rescheduling of the movie's release date from June 1st to November 30th of this year, she added.

Kagti acknowledges and appreciates the success of ‘Kahaani’ and admits that its director Sujoy Ghosh is her good friend, but she also reiterated that her film has an original script.

Aamir Disturbed With The Rumors
Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist who is known for his independence and aloofness not only from grapevines but important awards and ceremonies, has lately broken his silence against the 'Talaash' related rumors.

The actor is believed to be highly disturbed with false accusations of the film being on the lines of Balan’s ‘Kahaani’.

Earlier it was claimed that striking similarity between the climax of ‘Talaash’ and ‘Kahaani’, Aamir had to re-shoot Talaash’s climax.

However, Kaghti clearly rejected such allegations saying "There is just a little patchwork of a couple of shots to be done which would take half a day. Anyone familiar with little bit of filmmaking would know that it is common for most of the films but you can't change the film's storyline in such a short time."
